You can see a few of the video screencasts that I produced for Dell’s Kace division on this page. These were done for helping the general Dell sales staff explain what the Kace products can do, and are geared to be played jointly with the sales rep and the potential customer watching the same video from their own offices. If you would like to see the rest of sequence, please drop me an email and I can explain the project further.
Kbox (which recently was acquired by Dell) is used to manage and control desktop system images that contain user files and applications and — with its Systems Management Appliance, sold separately — to do PC inventory and audits. It also works with both virtual and physical machines too. Unlike the PC Mover and Zinstall approaches, they are designed for large-scale deployments of hundreds or more PCs.
