We tested a PacketShaper 900 on a small test network showing how it can discover, classify and prioritize application traffic. We address four different questions that IT managers have about understanding how bandwidth-consuming applications interact over their networks, and how individual applications can be controlled for particular use cases.

Hi David,
Demo is excellent and also your voice is good “sounds good”. Now I understood about Blue Coat PacketSharper how it works.
Do you have any more videos on Bluecoat products like troublshooting, Director, SG Appliances,etc.., so that it would be helpful.
Thanks,
Srikanth

Hi David,
Great Presentation – a few quick questions:
- Would i need an appliance for each remote site, or just the main site?
- Does it use snmp to communicate with the routers to adjust the settings?
- Does this only work with cisco networking hardware?
Thanks.
